Cold, dreary, and quiet. It is said that down below one can hear the weight of one’s own sins. The murmurs of lost souls often greet the surface for those that put their ears to the earth. Why is it that you ask? It is because they are jealous of the living you see, they were not moved there of their own free will long ago, and the dead do not easily forget the misdeeds of the living.
